How does it work?

Facial lines eventually appear as a result of repeated muscle contractions from frowning, squinting, or raising the eyebrows. This causes the skin to wrinkle and fold. In order to improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines, crow's feet, and forehead lines in adults, BOTOX® Cosmetic temporarily lowers the underlying muscle activity.

Who is a good candidate for Botox?

Generally, individuals who are bothered by the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles caused by repetitive muscle movements, such as frown lines, forehead lines, and crow's feet, may consider Botox. Additionally, those looking to prevent the formation of deeper wrinkles or maintain a youthful appearance may also opt for Botox treatments.
